Examination Process:

Examination procedures

  • The question-and-answer papers are sent by e-mail to each exam center two hours beforehand.
  • The files must be password protected. The password is given 30 minutes ahead to give enough time for paper printing and preparation.
  • The exam hall is wide and quiet, with a reasonable distance between students in the same hall.
  • Video cameras record the exam process, and there are enough invigilators in the hall.
  • A specialist doctor from the Scientific Council will be available in the exam center to answer any queries.

Grading Exam Papers

  • The exam papers are graded through the electronic grading program.
  • After the exam, the details of the answers are sent to the scientific council to discuss the answers and questions and identify the students’ weaknesses.

Correcting Exam Papers: 

 

The exam papers are corrected by the electronic correction program. After the exam, the details of the answers are sent to the scientific council to discuss the answers and questions and identify the weaknesses of the students.

Form and Rules of Exam:

  • Examination language: Arabic and with maximum 20% in English.
  • Form of question: Multiple-choice questions type A, B, C, D, E
  • Number of questions: Between 100 and 250 questions.
  • Design of questions: The questions are designed according to two main styles.
  • The first one that tests recall, understanding and memory.
  • The second one tests logic and practice and includes questions about clinical cases, diagnosis, management and non-therapeutic.
  • Period of exam: 2 hours.
  • Way of exam: The exam is done on pre-designed paper. Only the correct answers must be shaded using pencil.
  • Success degree: 60%.
